CONTAINCORP is an Corporate Horror Management Sim & Story Generator where you are tasked with building and managing a facility to contain and study the most bizarre and mysterious entities and objects on the planet.

Description

Containcorp is a story generator and simulation game where you must contain monsters and unexplainable anomalies. Players assume the role of a facility director, with the task to manage a top-secret facility that contains and experiments on anomalous entities. Containcorp is set in its own mythos with anomalies being continually added through development. It takes inspiration from the management aspects of Prison Architect, the story generation of Rimworld, the tone of Lobotomy Corporation, the rich lore of the SCP universe, the deep simulation of Dwarf Fortress and the atmosphere of Severance. Contain eldritch horrors within the facility.

Gameplay

Start by selecting the perfect location for your facility, and use your grant to construct containment areas, staff quarters, and research labs. Expand upwards into the sky or deep below the earth. As you progress, you'll receive requests to contain increasingly challenging anomalies, and must make strategic decisions to invest in specialized teams and equipment to successfully contain them. But it's not just about the containment, you'll also need to manage your staff and keep them sane while dealing with eldritch horrors. And be prepared to face off against hostile groups, who will stop at nothing to raid your facility and steal your anomalies. With a unique blend of base-building, management and anomalous containment, this game will challenge your strategic and tactical skills.

History

Plasmarc Studios started as a duo of passionate programmers committed to crafting captivating games. We founded the studio on August 26th, 2020, as a complement to our main game Containcorp. We had no idea what we were doing at the beginning, but 4 years later, and a small team behind us, we can finally get Containcorp out the door.
